LeBron James, the NBA superstar, and avid gamer, has revealed his custom-made Playstation 5 console on his social media account. The console, which features his famous quote, is a gift from Sony. LeBron is the first "PlayStation Playmaker" someone from outside the company to work with Sony to create unique PlayStation accessories, adding another "first" to his long list of accomplishments.
Both the PlayStation 5 console cover and the limited-edition DualSense wireless controller were designed by King James in collaboration with the Sony team and were inspired by the students at his "I Promise" school and his own commitment to hard work and perseverance.

The console also has a special message engraved on it: “Nothing is Given. Everything is Earned.” This is a quote that LeBron often uses to motivate himself and his teammates. It reflects his work ethic and his journey from being a kid from Akron, Ohio, to becoming one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
“I gotta give a special shoutout to PlayStation. You guys are unbelievable for this collaboration. This is so dope,” said James as he showed off his console. “You already know what I am going to be doing later for sure. I will be gaming day-to-day, all night,” he added further

According to Hypebeast, LeBron James and PlayStation have a long history together, going all the way back to when the future King was in the fourth grade. LeBron mentions the cult classic samurai hack-and-slash game from 2002 by saying, "My friends and I used to play Shinobi a lot." Even back then, our group was fiercely competitive, thus we frequently engaged in PlayStation 2 battles.
The 38-year-old said he was honored and grateful to receive the console from Sony. The forward is not the only celebrity who has received a custom PS5 from Sony. Other stars who have shown off their personalized consoles include American rapper Travis Scott.

These specifically created PS5 accessories will be released in a small number of countries around the world and will incorporate aspects inspired by LeBron and his passion for gaming and community. As a PlayStation Playmaker, LeBron contributed to the design of the DualSense wireless controller and PS5 console cover using images and sayings from his life.
The PS5, which was launched in November 2020, is one of the most popular and sought-after gaming devices in the world. It offers stunning graphics, fast loading times, immersive sound, and a range of exclusive titles. However, due to high demand and limited supply, many fans have struggled to get their hands on one. Sony has said it is working hard to increase the production and distribution of the PS5 to meet customer needs.
