Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James pulled out a huge dunk on Paul George during their clash against the LA Clippers. The Lakers hosted Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers in California on January 8, Monday. While the Lakers had lost 10 out of their last 13 games, the Clippers had won 14 out of their 16 previous games and were running on a five-match winning streak. The Darvin Ham-guided side finally ended their three-match losing streak and won the clash against arch-rivals 106-103.

After falling behind 16-7 early, the Lakers made a notable comeback and narrowed the gap to four points at halftime. The 39-year-old took things into his own hands and made a statement in the early third quarter. James came down in the transition and took off in the lane to make a huge dunk while getting fouled by Paul George. James got the rebound and took the ball to the ground to throw a one-handed jam. The Lakers star then went on to complete the three-pointer play to tie the score at 55.

Needless to say, James is still one of the most exciting and dynamic players that the league has ever produced. He came into the game with an average of 25.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 7.4 assists, and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 52.6% from the field and 39.8% from the three-point range in 33 games.

The Ohio-born star is on his way to make his 20th straight NBA All-Star Game. Talking about the overall performance of the Lakers, despite decent performances by their top stars, the Lakers have faced quite some struggles in the current season. In their Sunday-night clash, they entered the matchup with a 17-19 record in their first 36 games.
