Punjab Kings star Liam Livingstone is having a dream night on the field. While he scored his maiden half-century in the IPL, hitting the longest six of the season with a monstrous 108 m six, with the ball in hand, he has now taken 2 wickets in 2 balls. The part-time spinner first removed the set Shivam Dube before he took an exceptional catch off his own bowling to remove the new batter Dwayne Bravo.
Livingstone's wickets sealed the deal in favour of PBKS as it left CSK with a difficult equation of needing 83 runs off 30 balls.

Eventually, Punjab Kings managed to win the match by 54 runs. After two wickets in this over, Chennai could never pose a serious threat to the Punjab Kings total of 180 and were bowled out for 126 with 2 overs to spare. Shivam Dube's 57 off 30 balls was one of the rare positives for Chennai who have got off to their worst start to an IPL season.
This would not only be a test of character for CSK who are known to make a comeback but will also be a stern test for captain Ravindra Jadeja who has taken over from MS Dhoni ahead of this season. The Men in Yellow are currently at the ninth place in the ten-team table with only SunRisers Hyderabad below them.
