Logan Paul, the WWE United States Champion, denied an autograph to a young fan at the Delta Centre in Salt Lake City on the latest SmackDown episode. When the young WWE fan wanted his autograph on a Prime bottle, Logan Paul took out a chewing gum from his mouth before putting it on the bottle cap in an insulting gesture.
The incident happened when Logan Paul was headed to the ring to compete against his former tag team partner and WrestleMania opponent The Miz in the men’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match. In the initial stages, Paul and Miz traded taunts at each other to get under the skin in their high-stakes contest, to get one step closer to potentially winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Seth Rollins at WrestleMania.
At the flag end of the back-and-forth match, Logan Paul had his buddy Jeff trying to pass him the brass knuckles to help him secure the win, but The Miz intercepted it. However, the distraction was enough for Paul to defeat Miz via pinfall with the STO move.
In his first match on WWE SmackDown, Logan Paul put on a solid showing against a multi-time WWE Champion in The Miz. With that, he became the sixth and the final man to qualify for the men’s Elimination Chamber match, with the winner set to challenge Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania.
At the Optus Stadium in Perth on Saturday, February 24, Logan Paul will compete against Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley, LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens at the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE.
