Sunday’s Premier League encounter between Manchester City and Sheffield United was quite an eventful one, as it had all sorts of drama in it. The match started off well at Bramall Lane, as City scored the first goal and took the lead in the 63rd minute courtesy of Haaland’s header. City were clear favourites based on their form, as they hold the treble as well as the last three Premier League titles, whereas Sheffield were promoted this season after finishing second in the Championship.
City’s defender Kyle Walker made a huge blunder during the 85th minute as he stopped a ball that was about to go out of bounds. He passed the ball behind him without looking, straight to a Sheffield player. The ball was passed a couple of times after that, and Jayden Bogle saw the chance and scored a stunner to equalise in the 85th minute.

Naturally, this infuriated Walker, as it had cost his team a crucial goal as well as a clean sheet. He was simply lying on the sidelines in sadness as the goal was being scored. After that, he stood up furiously and kicked the electronic advertising hoarding behind him. As a result, the equipment got damaged and showed a pixelated image.

Luckily, City did not suffer much, as Rodri rushed to their rescue and scored a thrilling winning goal in the 88th minute. The thrilling match ended in favour of the defending champions.
With the win, City have regained their position at the top of the table with three wins in three games. City boss Pep Guardiola broke the record for ‘fastest manager to 200 Premier League wins’. He achieved the feat in 269 games. The previous record was held by United’s Sir Alex Ferguson, who had 200 wins in 322 games.
