In the 11th match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which is currently being played at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi, South African fielder Marco Jansen pulled off an exceptional running catch to dismiss Harry Brook for 19 runs in 29 balls. After the right-handed batter wasn’t able to clear the rope on the leg side on the bowling of Keshav Maharaj, England were reduced to 99/4 in 16.5 overs, finding themselves in real trouble.

Earlier, after Jos Buttler had decided to bat first in his final game as captain of the England white-ball setup, Marco Jansen ran through their top order, dismissing the likes of Phil Salt, Jamie Smith, and Ben Duckett within the first seven overs. Following that, Joe Root shared a 62-run stand with Harry Brook to resurrect the England batting innings before Marco Jansen sprung into action again, this time in the field with a superb catch.
