The 2023-24 edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) kickstarted on Thursday, 7 December with the Usman Khawaja-led Brisbane Heat taking on Melbourne Stars in the tournament opener at The Gabba in Brisbane. While the Heat sealed a comfortable win with Colin Munro playing the Player of the Match inning of 99* off 61 deliveries.
However, in a video going viral from the match, Australian batter and World Cup winner, Marnus Labuschagne was seen struggling to take selfie with fans. While the Aussie batter was handed the phone by the fan, a female fan was seen guiding him to take a perfect picture with a front camera.

However, other fans who were present around, looked at Marnus in awe, he actually was timed to have taken 20 seconds to take a picture.
Talking about the match, after being invited to bat first by the Stars, Usman Khawaja-led side posted 214 at the loss of three wickets in the 20 overs. While Munro missed a century by one run, Labuschagne added crucial 30 runs off 23 deliveries. However, the 29-year-old is all set to join the national side ahead of the first Test against Pakistan, starting December 14 at the Perth Stadium.
