The frustration of the Australian captain Matthew Wade boiled over when the umpire didn’t give a wide with his team needing 10 runs to achieve victory against India in the 5th T20I. At the very end, Arshdeep Singh conceded only three runs in the last over to help India achieve a six-run win in the fifth and final T20I of the series.

The bouncer from Arshdeep Singh, the Indian fast bowler, outside the off stump had the left-handed Matthew Wade trying a hook stroke, but he couldn’t manage to get the bat to the ball. The captain of Australia expected the umpire to give the ball as wide because it did seem to be flying over his head, but the man who mattered didn’t think that way, which led to him getting angry in the middle of the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

On the second ball of the over, Arshdeep executed a quality yorker, which Wade managed to only hit back at the bowler for no run. The next ball was just about in the slot for the Australian captain to smash for a boundary, but he couldn’t completely get under it, only to find the safe hands of Shreyas Iyer at long-on.
With the dismissal of Matthew Wade, the last recognised batter, Arshdeep Singh kept the tailenders Jason Behrendorff and Nathan Ellis in check on the last three balls of the match. He conceded only three singles to take India over the finishing line to secure a 4-1 triumph in the five-match T20I series.
