Memphis Grizzlies registered their ninth victory of the NBA 2022-23 regular season on Friday night after defeating Minnesota Timberwolves by 11 points at the FedExForum Arena. The Grizzlies star guard Ja Morant erupted for 28 points in the win against the Wolves and hit the griddy in front of the fans following the victory.
The Grizzlies managed a lead over the Wolves from the first quarter to ultimately win the game by 114-103. Ja Morant (28) scored the most points in the Grizzlies' victory and displayed his hilarious dance moves while leaving the arena.
Ja Morant fell two rebounds short to complete his triple-double against Minnesota as the 23-year-old point guard scored 28 points and registered 10 rebounds and eight assists in Friday's game. Impressed with the victory, Morant displayed the griddy to his fans' delight while leaving the arena.

Apart from Morant, Desmond Bane, Dillon Brooks and Brandon Clarke scored 24, 21 and 15 points respectively to help Memphis defeat Minnesota. On the other hand, Anthony Edwards scored 28 points and made six rebounds and assists each while Karl-Anthony Towns managed a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds for Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Grizzlies have registered their ninth win in 13 games this season and are currently on the third spot in the NBA Western Conference standings.
