Less than a month before his title fight against Sean O’Malley at UFC 306, Merab Dvalishvili nearly got into a brawl with a heckler. Recently , the Georgian was in the c rowd at the Craig Jones Invitational as he enjoyed some martial arts action. However, when he confronted a crowd member, his evening took a violent twist.
After hearing something he didn’t like coming from the crowd, the contender jumped out of the VIP section and zoomed past a man who appeared to be working security at the event, before getting in the face of the spectator. After gaining access to the crowd, the fan responsible for Dvalishvili's actions seemed concerned.
But fortunately, Merab only decided to exchange words and grab a hold of that fan's hair, before letting go and leaping back over the gate. In a few weeks, Dvalishvili will be in action for UFC gold for the first time in his career at what is expected to be one of the most unique combat sports showcases in the promotion.
Fighting a red-hot Sean O'Malley, the two bantamweights will be in the main event of UFC 306. The event will take place on September 14 and celebrate Mexican Independence Day, further, it will be the first live sporting event to take place at the coveted Las Vegas Sphere.
