Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has already found his World Cup form with a brilliant hattrick against the Netherlands in a rain-affected first warm-up match at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. Australia batting first, experimented a lot with their lineup and managed to post a decent 166-7 with Steven Smith top-scoring with a 55.

Then in the second innings, bowling the first over, Starc caught Max ODowd LBW on the fifth ball of the first over. Then on the next delivery, Starc cleaned up Wesley Barresi for a golden duck. Coming back to bowl the third over of the game, Starc produced another beauty to rattle Bas de Leede and complete a stunning hat trick.
