Australia took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match Test series as they went upto beat the Men in Green, Shan Masood-led side by 79 runs in the Boxing Day Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday, 29 December. Host skipper, Pat Cummins completed a 10-wicket haul, which was his second in Test cricket to help his side cross the line.

While Cummins took 10 wickets, Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Starc scalped four wickets each and Josh Hazlewood also took crucial wickets in their series win. Meanwhile in a video shared by Cricket Australia, Starc had promised a young fan to give his shoes if the Aussies complete nine wickets by the end of the day.

As promised, the Aussie pacer fulfilled his word as he gave signed pair of shoes to a young fan and even clicked pictures on the sidelines after Australia’s convincing win against Pakistan.
