The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 match between Pakistan and Afghanistan saw Afghan veteran Mohammad Nabi warn Pakistani captain Babar Azam of the run out  on non-striker's end. Batting first, the Men in Green started off well despite losing Imam-ul-Haq at a score of 17.

But solid performances from Abdullah Shafique and Babar Azam, Pakistan seemed crusing towards a big total. But with Nabi, starting off with the 16th over, stopped mid-way through his action as he spotted Azam walking out side the crease and warned the Pakistan captain of running him out.

Talking about teams for the game, Pakistan made one change as all-rounder Shadab Khan came for Mohammad Nawaz, who was ruled due to an illness. While Afghanistan brought in Noor Ahmad to replace fast bowler Fazal Farooqi.
