WATCH: Mohammad Kaif pulls off stellar one-handed diving catch in LLC Masters 2023

Kaif's catch dismissed Upal Tharanga, who was batting at 50 in 30 balls with seven fours and one six.

The Legends League Master 2023 has already given us amazing moments involving some of our favourite cricketing heroes. Adding to this tally, former Indian batter  Mohammad Kaif managed to turn back time and pull off a magical one-handed diving catch to dismiss Upal Tharanga.

The Sri Lankan opener was going all guns blazing as he was batting at 50 in 30 balls with seven fours and one six. Here, facing  Pragyan Ojha,  Tharanga cut the ball towards the extra cover. Living up to his reputation, Kaif put in a full-stretch dive and completed an amazing one-handed catch.

But this catch didn't hinder the Asia Lions' batting effort as they posted a massive total of 191 in their 20 overs. After Tharanga, Mohammed Hafeez and Asghar Afghan also played composed knocks of 38 in 24 and 34 in 24 respectively. 

Then to cap off this solid batting effort, Thisara Perera had a blistering cameo of 24 runs in just 12 balls which included three massive sixes. For the India Maharajas, Pragyan Ojha was the pick of the bowlers as he had a spell of two wickets while conceding 26 runs in his three overs. 

Stuart Binny also took two wickets but went on to give away 38 runs in his three overs. Along with Binny and Ojha, Pravin Tambe also picked one wicket in his two overs. Other Maharajas' bowlers like Irfan Pathan and Ashok Dinda went wicketless while being economical in their combined spell of eight wickets.
