The Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami has sent out a video on his official Instagram account to reveal that he saved a man’s life who was met with a car accident in front of him in the city of Nainital. The 33-year-old spoke about how he and some people safely rescued the victim from his car after it fell down the hill.
Mohammed Shami, who had played one of the biggest cricket matches of his life last weekend, talked about how happy he was to save someone else’s life from a major catastrophe on Saturday, November 25. The Indian fast bowler had played the final of the ODI World Cup 2023 against Australia on Sunday, November 19, which he and his team lost by six wickets.
The UP-born cricketer took to his official Instagram account to share the video of the moment, captioning it, “He’s so lucky god gave him 2nd life. His car fall down from the hill road near Nanital just in front of my car. We took him out very safely.”

Notably, during the ODI World Cup 2023 campaign for India, Mohammed Shami had a fabulous run, picking up 24 wickets in just seven innings, the highest in the flagship tournament. He averaged a mindblowing 10.70 with the ball, which led to him taking three five-wicket hauls, including the best ODI figures from an Indian, 57/7 in the semi-final of the CWC 2023 against New Zealand.
