A video of MS Dhoni, the captain of Chennai Super Kings, has gone viral on the X platform, wherein he was spotted making his way to the middle at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, better known as Chepauk, in his vintage look. The 42-year-old arrived in Chennai just a couple of days ago, to prepare for the upcoming season of the IPL.
Notably, MS Dhoni sparked quite a lot of rumours about his future earlier this week after making a rare Facebook post about how a “new role” awaits in the new IPL season. But, just a couple of days later, it was revealed to be an IPL 2024 advertisement for JioCinema wherein he played a double role in promoting the free streaming of the league on the aforementioned platform from March 22 onwards.
MS Dhoni is arguably the greatest captain in the history of the IPL, leading CSK to five titles in the last decade and a half. Chennai Super Kings are the defending champions of the IPL after they got the better of Gujarat Giants at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in the final, which was one of the most pulsating T20 matches last year. Shortly afterwards, the Indian cricketing legend underwent knee surgery, and after completing his rehabilitation, he decided to play for CSK for another year. The upcoming season of the IPL is anticipated to be the last one for MS Dhoni once again, and the Chennai Super Kings fans will be looking forward to making it a great occasion by making their presence felt in every stadium he plays at.
