Former India captain MS Dhoni was spotted celebrating Valentine’s Day with his wife Sakshi Dhoni at an event organised at a lavish venue. A clip making rounds of X shows the couple along with their friends singing a romantic Bollywood song 'Ja koi baat bigad jaye'. The video has received a lot of praise from Dhoni’s supporters who have been with him through thick and thin.
Dhoni will be seen in the upcoming IPL season, where he will be seen serving Chennai Super Kings (CSK) again. The 43-year-old will be vital for CSK’s campaign as he will be assisting captain Ruturaj Gaikwad to help the five-time title winners to be impactful in the marquee T20 competition. In the 2024 season, Dhoni scored 161 runs in 14 matches at a strike rate of 220.55 and an average of 53.67.

Besides Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Suryakumar Yadav, and Umesh Yadav were also seen celebrating the day with their spouses. The Master Blaster posted a clip on Instagram that showed him breaking a heart-shaped box, which contained a gift. Tendulkar was accompanied by his wife Anjali, who was standing beside her.
IPL 2025 schedule to be out soon
According to a CricBuzz report, IPL 2025 might kick off on March 22, with the opening game between the defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the iconic Eden Gardens.
2016 title-winners Sunrisers Hyderabad, who concluded their 2024 season as runners-up, might start their campaign against the 2008 champions Rajasthan Royals (RR) from their home ground Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on March 23. RR have picked the NorthEast city Guwahati as their home ground and they will be hosting the matches against the Super Kings and Knight Riders. Himachal Pradesh’s Dharamsala will also host three Punjab Kings (PBKS) games.
