Bangladesh are taking on New Zealand in the second Test of the two-match Test series at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. While the Najmul Hossain Shanto-led side won the toss and opted to bat first, they put 137/7 in 55 overs. However, in the 41st over of the Bangladesh inning, Mushfiqur Rahim achieved a rare feat while batting.
The wicketkeeper-batter who was batting at 35 off 83 balls, became the first Bangladeshi players to be dismissed for handling the ball. On the fourth delivery of the 41st over, which was being bowled by Kyle Jamieson, Rahim defended the ball with soft hands and then used his right hand to keep the ball away. However, the ball didn’t seem to be close to the off stump, leaving everyone on the field baffled.
