Bangladesh fast bowler  Mustafizur Rahman was rushed to the hospital after being hit on the head during a Comilla Victorians training session at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong . Playing in the Bangladesh Premier League, Rahman has been the joint-highest wicket-taker with 11 scalps alongside  Tanvir Islam for the  Victorians, who are placed second in the table with seven wins in nine games.

Coming back to the incident, Mustafizur was standing near his bowling mark when he got hit by a shot from Litton Das, who was batting in an adjoining net. Team-mates and coaching staff rushed to Rahman as he received first aid before being taken to  Imperial Hospital in Chittagong.

There is no intracranial bleeding:  Team physio on  Rahman's injury

The team physio,  Zahidul Islam, spoke about how  Rahman suffered an open wound in his parietal area which was worked by compression bandage. Islam further revealed that the CT scans confirmed the incident led to only an external injury.  The  Comilla Victorians physio, as per Cricinfo, said,  "During practice, a ball hit directly at the left parietal area (head) of Mustafizur Rahman."

"There was an open wound at his parietal area and we have worked with compression bandage to stop bleeding and immediately had shifted him to Imperial Hospital. After CT scan we are satisfied that he had only external injury. There is no intracranial bleeding. Now surgical team has given him stitches on the open wound," he continued.
