NASCAR racer Ryan Preece on Saturday, August 26 suffered a horrific crash at the Daytona International Speedway. The 32-year-old American stock car driver, however, miraculously walked away from sustaining major injuries as the video going viral shows his car flip over ten times following a collision.

 

As reported by several media houses, the Ford driver lost control of his car and steered straight into Chase Briscoe’s car, which was towards his left with almost five more laps to go in the ongoing regular season finale of the Cup Series. What got goosebumps was that the 32-year-old’s car went straight into the infield, where he went airborne and flipped close to ten times before it landed on its wheels. The car also caught fire after the air flips.

The Stewart-Haas Racing driver however, managed to survive this terrible crash and crawled out of the car with the emergency medical referring him to the nearby medical institution. However, the number of injuries sustained by the driver still remains unknown, Ryan took to X, formerly known as Twitter to give an update and assure of his comeback.

 

“If you want to be a race car driver , you better be tough. Dammit. Fast @racechoice @FordPerformance Mustang. I’m coming back”, he wrote in his post.

Additionally, RFK Racing’s Chris Buescher prevailed in the Coke Zero Sugar 400, claiming his fifth NASCAR Cup Series win on Saturday. So far, 16 racers have been eliminated from the NASCAR Cup Series.
