The Premier League 2022-23 season is underway with Newcastle United winning their opening fixture against newly-promoted Nottingham Forest on Saturday. After the match, Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin greet the fans outside the stadium and gifted a lucky fan a watch.

Newcastle United kicked off their Premier League campaign in style as they managed a comfortable win over Nottingham Forest as Fabian Schar and Callum Wilson scored second half goals to give their side a 2-0 victory at the St James' Park.

The 25-year-old French footballer took to his official Instagram handle to post a video where he can be spotted gifting a brand new watch to a Newcastle fan. Maximin captioned, "These are the values of the Helios community. With the massive support you guys give me all the time, these little attentions are the least I can do to thank you."

Saint-Maximin, who is highly fascinated with Greek mythology, has created Helios, a board game. The game allows users to compete for cash at the events hosted by the French international.

Newcastle will face Brighton, who defeated Manchester United in their opening game, for their second Premier League game on August 13 at the American Express Community Stadium.
