Lucknow Super Giants batter Nicholas Pooran smashed back-to-back sixes to Arjun Tendulkar to complete his half-centur y in the IPL. Mumbai Indians hosted LSG for the 67th clash of the Indian Premier League on May 17, Friday, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The game marked the last fixtures for both sides in the current season of the tournament. The match saw MI skipper Hardik Pandya winning the toss and inviting his counterparts to bat first.
Nicholas Pooran, who came in to bat for the side at fifth, smashed consecutive sixes off Arjun Tendulkar’s deliveries. Tendulkar who featured in his first match for the season bowled a total of 14 balls in the game. When Tendulkar came in to deliver his third over, Pooran smashed back-to-back sixes to complete his fifty.

Mumbai Indians bowler Arjun Tendulkar could only deliver 14 balls in the game and failed to complete the quota of four overs. Tendulkar came to deliver the 15th over and Nicholas Pooran began it by smashing two back-to-back sixes . The bowler seemingly pulled up his muscle while running to bowl. Just before the over, he was given first aid by the physio, but the problem persisted, and he was taken off the field.
Tendulkar’s over was completed by Naman Dhir, and Pooran lost his wicket in the 17th over to a Nuwan Tushara delivery. Pooran scored a total of 75 runs in just 29 deliveries. LSG pulled up a total of 214 runs with a loss of six wickets.
