When it comes to entertainment in tennis, Australia's Nick Kyrgios is one of the names that stands out. The 26-year-old never fails to put up a show for the audience no matter what the occasion is. He drives the energy from crowd and doesn't shy away from attempting audacious stuff on court. While his discipline has been an issue for some years, there is no doubt about his incredible talent. The same was on display once again in one of the best matches of Wimbledon 2021 so far which started on Tuesday evening and eventually finished on Wednesday afternoon due to curfew.
Incredible stuff by Kyrgios
The first round match between Nick Kyrgios and Ugo Humbert had to be suspended yesterday due to the 11 PM curfew in London. However, the duo came back on Wednesday and completed the match as Kyrgios eventually came out on top in the 5-set thriller as he won the match 6-4, 4-6, 3-6, 6-1, 9-7. The 26-year-old smashed 23 aces in the contest with three of them coming in a single game itself.
It was the first game of fourth set and Kyrgios was two sets down. He needed to start the new set on a positive note and he did that in style. The Aussie gave no chance to Humbert to return his service even once as he produced four back-to-back brilliant serves to win the game in only 43 seconds. Notably, he went a step ahead of World No. 1 Novak Djokovic who had caught everyone's attention after winning a game in 46 seconds few days back.

Reflecting on his decision to return to play Wimbledon this year, Kyrgios said after the match, "It was easy to get off the couch in Canberra as Wimbledon is one of my favourite events and I heard there was going to be a crowd so it was an easy decision to come here." After knocking out 21st seeded Ugo Humbert, Kyrgios is now set to face Italy's Gianluca Mager in the second round on Thursday.
