On Day 3 of the ongoing fourth BGT Test at MCG, the series debutant Nitish Kumar Reddy reached his maiden 50 off 81 deliveries. Reddy lofted a full delivery from Aussie pacer Mitchell Starc over the vacant point region and the ball raced away to a boundary, getting the Indian all-rounder to his half-century.
Soon after reaching this feat, he brought up the signature move from the Allu Arjun-starrer Telugu movie Pushpa. Moreover, his celebration also evoked laughter and admiration from the legendary Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar.

It is to be noted that the Indian youngster also achieved a benchmark with his crucial knock. Reddy, who is currently batting at the score of 85* with early tea being called out on Day 3, he joined Anil Kumble in an elite list of batters to have scored half-centuries in Tests on Australian soil coming out at No. 8.
