Cody Rhodes concluded the spectacular story between him and Roman Reigns by handing him defeat in the Wrestlemania 40 on Monday night at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The night saw the American Nightmare become the undisputed champion of the WWE Raw.
During his address to the crowd after clinching the title, Rhodes was interrupted by the surprise visit by Dwayne Johnson whose entry made the crowd go frenzy. The Rock started with some of his usual tricks, such as mocking the crowd, and also asked The Raw champion to exchange the belts with him.
The Final boss then declared he would be going away from the WWE for a while but assured he would return to the ring to go after the American nightmare. He uttered a warning sign to Rhodes by saying, “So Cody Rhodes, your story with Roman Reigns is over and you did it. But our story has just begun.”

Before leaving the arena, The Brahma Bull also presented an unidentified gift to the Rhodes and exclaimed that he doesn’t need to open his hand to know what is it. He gushed, “Don’t ever break my heart again,” and calmly left the ring.

Rhodes asks Samantha Irvin to announce him as WWE champion again
After being crowned with the title of Undisputed WWE Champion, Rhodes asked the presenter Samantha Irvin to announce him as the champion for the second time. The ace WWE presenter didn’t disappoint the champions as he announced him as the winner in a loud voice again. “Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome the new Undisputed WWE Champion, the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes…..”
