The Shan Masood-led Pakistan cricket team is taking on Bangladesh in the second and final Test of the two-match series. After being handed a thrashing at the hands of their Asian neighbours, Pakistan would eye for a win to end the series in a 1-1 draw, but the hosts continued to remain in the headlines after some terrible fielding attempts.
On Day 2 of the second Test in Rawalpindi, Saud Shakeel dropped a simple catch. After being bundled out for 274 runs in their first inning, the hosts were given a chance to provide an early breakthrough, but a dropped catch from Saud Shakeel in the fifth slip, gave a lifeline to Shadman Islam. While it was a straightforward catch for the Pakistan batter, the error was compounded with Saim Ayub, who was positioned at fourth slip, also missing the chance to collect the ball, missing the opportunity.
While there were reactions of shock and disappointments, captain Shan Masood was also left in disbelief as the others looked frustrated.

Richard Kettleborough’s reaction on Saud Shakeel’s dropped catch goes viral
While everyone looked discontented on the dropped catch, umpire Richard Kettleborough also could not hide his reaction to the dropped opportunity. The on-field umpire was seen hiding his face in the dramatic moment as the commentators echoed it as “regulation catch”.
Speaking of the second Test, which is underway at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium saw Bangladesh score 193/7 at Tea on Day 3. Hasan Mahmud and Litton Das would look to get Bangladesh close to the first inning total and once again prove them dominant in the Test match.
