Pakistan all-rounder Salman Agha got hit on his face as he attempted a paddle sweep against India's Ravindra Jadeja on the Reserve Day for the Super 4s Asia Cup 2023 fixture. The Men in Blue posted a massive 356-run total with Virat Kohli and KL Rahul scoring centuries.

In the second innings, Pakistani batters couldn't replicate India's heroics and were struggling at 45-3 in 11 overs when rain caused another delay. As play restarted, Agha held one end and batted cautiously. Taking on Jadeja in the 21st over, the Pakistani star tried a paddle sweep. Here the ball came onto his face and left him bloodied with a cut on the cheek.
