The game saw Pandya and Co. registering a brilliant seven-wicket win over their counterparts, owing to SKY’s batting heroics.
After the game, Cummins was seen sharing the story of one of his injuries, where he lost the tip of his middle finger. Cummins’ sister slammed a door on his finger when the cricketer was just four years old. The accident left the two fingers, central to his bowling action, almost of the same length. The story left the MI skipper and batter shocked, and their reactions went viral on social media within no time.

MI captain Hardik Pandya heaped praise on Suryakumar Yadav for his brilliant 102* off 51 balls knock against SRH. Owing to Surya’s batting, MI registered a seven-wicket win over their rivals to keep their IPL 2024 campaign alive. He was adjudged Player of the Match for his heroics with the bat in the game. Following the win, Pandya praised Yadav and said that he was lucky to have the batter in the squad.
