While the Proteas Men were gifted an early jolt as their skipper departed for duck, a brilliant catch from Aussie skipper at mid-on helped them get another breakthrough in Quinton de Kock.
On the fourth delivery of the sixth over, Josh Hazlewood bowled a length delivery with de Kock miscues it straight up in the air. Cummins ran backwards to complete the catch at deep mid-on, going down head first.

With Josh Hazlewood taking a crucial wicket of Quinton de Kock, the second highest run-scorer in ODI World Cup 2023, has now dismissed de Kock eight times in ODIs, which is most in the 50-over format.
Talking about the match, South Africa were reduced to 10/2 in eight overs with Rassie van der Dussen (4 off 25) and Aiden Markram (1 off 5) in the middle.
