The International Friendly between Portugal and Slovenia saw a fan interrupt the proceedings on Tuesday, March 26. With Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal slipping to a 0-2 defeat against Slovenia, the match saw a brief halt as a CR7 fan had a dream moment with his star.
The Portugal and Al Nassr star, who enjoys a massive fan following across the globe, was a proof of it when a fan invaded the field of play at the 43rd minute with the scoreboard reading 0-0. The fan breached the security and entered the ground to have a dream moment with Ronaldo as he clicked a selfie and even went on to kiss the star at the Stozice Stadium in Ljubljana.
In a video going viral, the fan first took a selfie and then planted a kiss on the 39-year-old before he was taken off the field by the security officials. Not only this, but the Portugal captain was also caught fuming at the fourth referee after the match on his way out, reminding the latter that there were two penalty kicks.

Speaking of the match, Ronaldo seemed powerless as he could not stop his national side from losing in the second half. Adam Gnezda cerin struck in the 72nd minute before Timi Max Elsnik added another to the tally eight minutes later to help the home side finish with a 2-0 win.
Furthermore, Portugal registered its first ever defeat since the arrival of Spanish coach Roberto Martinez, who had previously won 11 games in a row.
