Ahead of the 2023 NBA Draft Lottery, Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe met the widely expected number one draft pick in the 2023 Draft, Victor Wembanyama, who is hailed as the biggest NBA draft pick since LeBron James in 2003. The PSG star made sure to attend Wembanyama's final regular-season match in the French league.

Wembanyama scored 22 points as Boulogne-Levallois defeated Paris Basketball 93-85 in a neighborhood matchup. In order to secure the victory and secure the Metropolitans the No. 2 seed for the upcoming French league playoffs, he scored 14 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter.

While Kylian Mbappe has shown his potential on the world stage during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, now it's time for his compatriot to create a difference in the biggest basketball league, NBA. Both Mbappe and Wembenyama met ahead of the drafts lottery and conversed with each other while interacting with young fans.

Before Wembanyama can fully shift his attention to the NBA, he still has to concentrate on the French league playoffs, which begin this weekend. However, the French audiences are making the most of their opportunities to see him while they can, realizing that a similar talent is unlikely to emerge very soon.

Kylian Mbappe, on the other hand, is having a sensational season in the Ligue 1 as he remains the top scorer this season with 26 to his name. He has played a big part in PSG’s recent success in the top-tier league of French Football. The Parisian club looks set to get their hands on their 11th league title.
