On October 29, India Women’s team successfully defeated New Zealand by 6 wickets to clinch the series by 2-1 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Although each player from the team presented a skilled performance, one player stood out earning “Impact Fielder of the Series”. The BCCI released a video showing Harmanpreet Kaur and her teammates enjoying the series victory alongside fielding coach Munish Bali and head coach Amol Muzumdar.
Radha Yadav, who has been in incredible form throughout the series, was the victor of the "medal hunt". Out of the six nominees listed for the prized accolade, they also named the series' top impact player. In the series against NZ, Radha Yadav took two classic catches and delivered the best bowling throughout the series. She was successful in presenting her athletic qualities in the ODI series.

In the second ODI of the series, Radha made a diving catch to dismiss Georgia Plimmer, who was looking strong in the inning. Later in the same match, Radha took another amazing catch at cover, showcasing her acrobatic abilities. On the third ball of the 32nd over of the second ODI, Halliday skied a delivery off the bowling of Priya Mishra. It seemed that the ball would fall safely outside the 30-yard circle, but Radha Yadav showed off her athletic skill.
After running a considerable distance back, Radha was able to properly time the plunge and stretch her hands. She ultimately made the catch. Radha not only displayed her skill in fielding but in bowling too. The left-arm spinner won the award for her outstanding performance, taking seven wickets in three innings while maintaining an outstanding series economy of 5.51. She became the first ever Indian women cricketer to pick four wickets and three catches in a single inning of an ODI.
Radha Yadav has always been tagged as the best fielder in India's women's team. Her standout skill helped her to earn the respective award.
