The Harmanpreet Kaur-led Women in Blue are hosting New Zealand Women in a three-match ODI series at home after their heartbreaking group stage exit from the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. While the hosts currently lead the series by 1-0 margin, they are locking horns with the White Ferns in the second Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday, October 27.

At the start of the second ODI, the Sophie Devine-led side won the toss and opted to bat first. While Suzie Bates (58 off 70) and Georgia Plimmer (41 off 50) stitched a 99-run stand for the White Ferns, India’s star bowler, Radhav Yadav pulled off a stunning catch to break the crucial partnership of the top order batters.
