Kolkata Knight Riders’ wicketkeeper Rahmanullah Gurbaz pulled a prank on an autorickshaw driver while travelling in India. Gurbaz is in India to participate in the Indian Premier League, and his side recently locked horns with Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. KKR defeated their counterparts by a margin of seven wickets and became the first team to register an away victory.
The 21-year-old Afghanistan cricketer is known for his heartwarming gesture towards fans. In one of the recent videos, he was seen pulling a prank on an auto driver while traveling in India. In the video, the cricketer was seen wearing a mask and after traveling in a rickshaw he told the driver that he had forgotten his money in the hotel. While talking, the cricketer pulled off his mask and the rickshaw driver recognised him and asked him if he was Gurbaz.
Later, the rickshaw driver gave ₹30 to Gurbaz so that he could travel back to the hotel. This gesture touched the Afghanistan cricketer and he went on to hug him and thank him for his kindness. The video was posted on KKR’s social media channels and was accompanied by the caption, “A man with a big heart - Rahmanullah Gurbaz” The video went viral on social media within no time, where fans lauded the heartwarming gesture of the rickshaw driver.
This isn’t the first time the KKR wicketkeeper won fans’ hearts by going out of the way for them. Recently, the cricketer interacted with some of his fans at the Eden Gardens and gifted a young fan his batting gloves. The fan asked Gurbaz for his batting gloves and the Afghan wicketkeeper-batter accepted his request.
