Mumbai Indians all-rounder Ramandeep Singh is having an impressive outing at the Sher-E-Punjab T20 Cup as he hit five consecutive sixes against BLV Blasters, almost doing the impossible in the process. Playing for Agri Kings Knights, Singh came into bat with the team reeling at 86/5 and requiring 108 runs to win in 12.3 overs.

The all-rounder didn't take too long to press the accelerator as he swept his first ball for a boundary to start things but his best was yet to come. In the 13th over Singh took off-spinner Krishan Alang to the cleaners as he smashed five consecutive sixes. The first two were in the slot as he hit them over the long-on boundary. The third six was a mistimed but Singh’s strength managed to get it over the boundary.

The fourth six was the most impressive one as the 26-year-old hit a short-pitched ball outside off-stump over the extra-cover boundary to get to his fifty. The fifth six was a massive hit down the ground which went the farthest of all. The 26-year-old went on to make 63 off 28 balls but in vain as the Agri Kings Knights fell short of the target by just three runs.
