The Abu Dhabi NBA games have once again sparked this fire for the sport in the South Asian region. The Etihad Arena at Yas Island brought together multiple superstars from across the world including Bollywood sensation Ranveer Singh. The Mumbai-born actor has been an avid NBA fan and also made an appearance in the 2022 All-Star celebrity game. 


Singh once again got an opportunity to showcase his NBA fandom as he had a hilarious interaction with former NBA MVP and champion Giannis Antetokounmpo. Th e Bollywood star taught the Greek Freak dance steps on his hit song ‘Tattad Tattad’ from the motion picture ‘Ram-Leela’.


In the clip, Ranveer greets Giannis and gives him a step-by-step breakdown of the dance. Following Singh, the former NBA DPOY gradually gets into rhythm and performs the song with ease. Later the duo shared a hug and shook hands.


Sharing the video, Ranveer wrote, "The Greek Freak gettin’ his Tattad Tattad on! @giannis_an34. The Milwaukee Bucks star reshared the video on his Instagram stories and wrote, “My guy" tagging the actor. 



As Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to grow his global stardom, he has plans to play in India as well. The Bucks superstar is ready for the idea of the NBA having games in India at some point in the future. On the league's plans for expansion, Antetokounmpo said: "I would love to play in China, maybe Shanghai or Beijing."


"That will be a fine experience, and maybe somewhere in India try to expand the game as much as possible and make it global and reach places that we have not reached. A lot of people around the world love basketball and we have got to present, and we want to create something for the fans”, he further stated.
