Ravichandran Ashwin hit six and four to Mohammed Shami at a crucial time during Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans game on Sunday but got out on the next ball. The veteran off-spinner had all but secured the win for the Royals. His daughter went through a rollercoaster of emotions during his short stay at the crease and the same can be seen in Ashwin's wife Prithi Narayanan's Instagram story.
Rajasthan Royals took the pole position in the IPL 2023 standings after defeating defending champions Gujarat Giants last night. During the chase, Ashwin scored 10 runs off the first two balls he faced and was dismissed on the third ball, and took her daughter on an emotional rollercoaster ride.
The video has gone viral on social media and was initially posted by Prithi on her Instagram. Ashwin's wife posted two stories, where their daughter was very happy and clapped her hands when the all-rounder hit Shami out of the ground, and wrote, "The love when Ashwin hits a six." However, she was brought back to the ground when he got out the very next ball and she was seen crying as Prithi wrote, "To the drama when he gets out."

Talking about the game, Rajasthan won a closely fought encounter by three wickets and when Ashwin came into bat they required 17 off 10 and he brought it down to just seven off the last eight. Hetmyer finished the game off and Rajasthan are now at the top of the table after five matches. The men in pink will face LSG on Wednesday.
