Chennai Super Kings star Ravindra Jadeja shared an emotional moment with his wife Rivaba Jadeja as he hit winnings to help CSK beat Gujarat Titans and win IPL 2023. Chasing 171 in 15 overs, Chennai received the perfect start as Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway scored 74 in just 6.4 overs. Then the likes of Ajinkya Rahane and Ambati Rayudu played great cameos, keeping CSK in the game.
In this rollercoaster finale, Shivam Dube held one end as CSK lost quick wickets to Mohit Sharma and then came Ravindra Jadeja, who took some time and managed to score some boundaries just before the final over. With 13 runs needed in the last over, CSK only scored just three runs in the first four balls. Then on the fifth ball, Jadeja hit Mohit Sharma for a stunning six down the ground and on the last ball, Sharma missed his line and delivered a leg-side full toss which went for a four off Jadeja's pad and won CSK the Final.
As the last ball went for a boundary, Rivaba Jadeja was seen in tears as cheered for her husband and his team. Later as the on-field festivities ended, Ravindra Jadeja and Rivaba Jadeja embraced each other celebrating this glorious moment.
