On Thursday, April 10, the Delhi Capitals (DC) continued their winning run in the tournament as they defeated home side, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by six wickets to make it four-in-a-row in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. After restricting the hosts to 163 in 20 overs, on the back of KL Rahul’s gritty 93*-run knock, DC registered a comfortable win in just 17.5 overs.

What caught the attention in this win for DC was KL Rahul’s cold celebration after helping his side finish on the other side. While KL Rahul’s celebration went viral in no time with several talking about it, Tim David and Faf du Plessis were also seen having a chat around the same after the completion of the match.

This is my ground, this is my home: KL Rahul

Speaking after his match-winning knock of 53-ball 93* KL Rahul shared his opinions on this knock. “Was a slightly tricky wicket. What helped me was being behind the stumps for 20 overs, just watching how it played. I knew what my shots are. Just wanted to get off to a good start, be aggressive initially and assess it from there. If I was trying to hit a big six, I knew what pockets to target,” KL Rahul said at the post-match presentation.

“This is my ground, this is my home. I know this better than anybody else. Enjoyed playing here,” he further added.
