After Mohammed Siraj and Dinesh Karthik’s collision near the stumps, the Royal Challengers Bangalore suffered another injury blow during their tournament opener against Mumbai Indians. In the eighth over of the Mumbai innings, Reece Topley sustained a shoulder injury while fielding.
This incident took place on the third delivery of the over when Topley dived to collect the ball but landed awkwardly on his right shoulder. He looked in a lot of trouble and was taken off the field after this injury with physios coming and checking on him.

Talking about the match, Faf du Plessis-led RCB won the toss and opted to bowl first. In the two overs Topley bowled, he conceded 14 runs and took a wicket, before sustaining this injury. However, it is highly likely that the England player might miss the remainder of this game.
Further, which looks like a shoulder dislocation, Topley might miss the remainder of the tournament. If so happens, he will be the second after Kane Williamson to miss the rest of the season after suffering an injury during the match.
