The WWE Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley, took a page out of Rikishi’s legendary offensive style, performing his trademark stinkface move on Nia Jax. On the “Road to WrestleMania” WWE live event at the Bank of Springfield Center, the Australian superstar paid her tribute to Rikishi in a triple-threat championship match, which also had Shayna Baszler as the third competitor.
As an integral part of the Judgement Day group in the last couple of years, Rhea Ripley has ascended to the top of the women’s division in WWE. After winning the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 39 in a hard-fought matchup against Charlotte Flair, she has defended her title against all comers for the better part of the last year.
In a viral clip on the social media platform X, Rhea Ripley was spotted in the middle of the ring, stretching up her tights, while Nia Jax was sitting down at the turnbuckle. Moments later, Mami hurriedly ran back before sticking her ass into the face of the Irresistible Force, performing the stink face made famous by Rikishi, which is also known to be one of the dirtiest moves in all of pro wrestling.
Following this, Rhea Ripley successfully retained her WWE Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler in a relatively dominant fashion in Springfield.
Within just two weeks, Rhea Ripley is scheduled to defend her championship against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania XL. The 40th annual Showcase of the Immortals is set to go down on two nights, April 6 and 7, at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
