Indian wicket-keeper batter Richa Ghosh’s brilliance behind the stumps ensured the first breakthrough for Team India versus England Women in their ongoing Women’s T20 World Cup fixture. After Harmanpreet Kaur opted to bowl first, Ghosh provided an early blow to England in the very first over of the game, with her spectacular one-handed diving catch behind the stumps.
It was the third delivery of the 1st over, Renuka Singh bowled a good length delivery to Danielle Wyatt which flew off the edge to the wicketkeeper. Richa showed great presence of mind and dived towards her right to pluck the ball from air.
