Former Australian captain and cricketing legend, Ricky Ponting perfectly predicted all-rounder Nikhil Chaudhary’s wicket against Nathan Coulter-Nile in the Big Bash League. As the Hobart Hurricanes batted first at the MCG, Melbourne Stars were under pressure with openers posting a massive 86-run stand in 9.6 overs.

But with a regular fall of wickets, the hosts managed to take control. Then in the 18th over of the first innings, Nathan Coulter-Nile faced off Nikhil Chaudhary. After two runs from the first two balls, Ponting, commentating on the game, suggested that Coulter-Nile should send out a short ball which could get the wicket.
Ponting said, "He'll drag the length back now, Coulter-Nile, take the pace off. It's what he does so well here at the MCG." Suprisingly, Nathan Coulter-Nile pulled his length back and delivered a slower ball which, on the queue, was mistimed by Chaudhary, leading to his dismissal.
