Kolkata Knight Riders batter Rinku Singh went for bat hunting again in IPL 2025 and this time, his target was none other than Mumbai Indians star Rohit Sharma. Notably, during the last IPL season in 2024, Rinku broke the bat during practice that was given to him by Virat Kohli. Before KKR’s clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in 2024, Rinku Singh again asked Kohli for a bat as shown in a viral video posted by KKR on their social media. Now, after one year, Rinku was seen setting his eyes on Rohit Sharma’s bat as he sneaked into MI's dressing room after the MI versus KKR clash at Wankhede Stadium on Monday, March 31.
In a video posted by MI on their social media, Rinku Singh can be seen standing near Rohit Sharma while the opening batter was trying his bats. Followed by this, TIlak Varma also complained about how Rinku has many good bats of his own but is still asking for Rohit’s bat. MI skipper Hardik Pandya also confronted Rinku after which KKR batter had to explain the reason for his visit. In the end, another KKR youngster Angkrish Raghuvanshi was seen holding Rohit’s bat and giving a thumbs up.

KKR to face SRH in next home fixture of IPL 2025
Talking about KKR, the defending champions will get back to their home ground as they are scheduled to take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at Eden Gardens on April 3. It is going to be a repeat of the last year’s final and KKR will look to get back on the winning track after losing their last game against MI at Wankhede Stadium.
KKR have lost two of their first three games in IPL 2025 and so does SRH. It is going to be an important clash for both the teams, who will be coming for their second win of the season.
