However, during the post-match press conference a journalist asked Rohit Sharma on why Rajat Patidar did not play in Indore. The journalist questioned the Indian skipper, “Didn’t Rajat Patidar deserve to play at his home ground in Indore?” To this the Indian skipper politely answered, “If there is a place, we would have surely.”

Rohit Sharma further added that if we have to see the home ground and make players play, then Ishan Kishan should also play in Ranchi, leaving everyone in splits. “If Patidar has to play in Indore, by that logic Ishan Kishan will also tell to play him in Ranchi,” Rohit quoted.
