The Rohit Sharma-led Men in Blue will aim to seal the two-match Test series as they take on West Indies in the second and final Test, starting July 20 in Trinidad. The Team India skipper, who became the fifth batter to score most centuries among active players in international cricket in the first Test, will aim to lead his side to victory once again in West Indies.
But ahead of the second Test, which starts on July 20, was seen engaging in a hilarious take with Indian wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan. Kishan, who celebrated his 25th birthday on July 18, made his Test debut in the first Test, earlier this month. In a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the skipper was asked what birthday present he would gift. This incident took place when the skipper was addressing the press conference.
Rohit in a hilarious manner then asked him what gift he wanted before coming to his side. The 36-year-old asked, “kya birthday gift chahiye bhai tereko (what birthday gift do you want buddy)?” Just when Ishan laughed, Sharma continued, “Birthday gift tu humko de bhai, 100 run karke (You should give us a birthday gift by scoring a hundred).”

The Indian wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan has been picked as Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul’s like-for-like replacement as the two work towards regaining complete fitness. The young Indian keeper will look etch a mark as he takes on the field in the second Test, starting tomorrow.
