India skipper Rohit Sharma is leading India’s contingent in the Test series against West Indies, where the Indian men are on a lead with 1-0. The second Test is going on at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad. It goes without saying that the India boys enjoy a huge fan following across the globe, and the regular fan meet-ups from India’s tour are a testament of it. Another such video has emerged on social media, where the India skipper met the local WI windball cricket team captain, who turned out to be his big fan. 

In a video doing rounds on social media, Rohit Sharma, fondly known as ‘Hitman’, could be seen meeting the windball captain, Karen. She informed Sharma that she also used to play windball cricket, to which he replied that though he heard about the game, he never played it. The video of the small meet-up has gone viral on social media, garnering attention from fans across the globe.

In a video shared by RevSportz, she talked about the small interaction he had with the captain of the Indian team. Karen said, “We were speaking about cricket. And I told him that I was the captain of my wind ball cricket team which he knows as tennis ball cricket. He said I heard a lot about it but I never played it. We only had this discussion just now. I told him that you are the best captain, and I was also the best captain of my team, the ladies wind ball cricket team from Trinidad and Tobago.”

Speaking about the series, India chose to bat first in the second Test and piled up 438 runs. By the end of the third day, WI scored 229 runs at the loss of five wickets, trailing behind by 209 runs.
