The 6IXTY cricket tournament has already produced incredible moments since its start. We saw a mystery free-hit which is voted on by the fans on the opening day of the tournament when the Trinbago Knights faced Guyana Amazon Warriors in the women's edition. Now, in the fixture between Jamaica Tallawahs and Barbados Royals Rovman Powell pulled off a miracle.

Rovman Powell, the captain of the Tallawahs, was fielding in the long-off region, where he plucked out a guaranteed six and saved his side three runs. Raymon Reifer bowled a widish delivery, where Harry Tector charged ahead and smashed towards the long-on region. Here, Powell leapt up and chugged the ball away as the batters only managed to take three runs.

The video of this incredible feat was posted by the 6IXTY social media account with a caption saying, “Outstanding fielding from captain Powell!!! In this evenings high scoring game Powell saves a shot that was destined for 6 as the @officialskyexch  play of the match!! #CricketsPowerGame #6ixtyCricket #CPL22 #JTvBR”

Talking about the tournament, cricketing legend Chris Gayle has been one of the key voices behind this interesting series as he opted out of the forthcoming CPL 2022 and will turn his focus to 6IXTY, which will run from August 24 to 28 in St Kitts.

Talking about the tournament, Gayle said, "I am going for the shorter format this year," Gayle said in a media statement. "I am genuinely excited about the current innovations in the 6ixty and seeing how they play out. In particular, I am looking forward to the mystery team ball and hitting two sixes in the first 12 balls to unlock a third powerplay over."
