Al Nassr’s newly signed Senegalese footballer Sadio Mane recently performed Umrah in Mecca after his side 1-1 draw against Zamalek in Arab Clu b Champions Cup 2023. The 31-year-old who joined Al Nassr from Bayern Munich was joined by other Muslim teammates on his religious trip.
Mane, who recently signed with Al Nassr in summer transfer window, was joined by Seko Fofana among other players. It is to be noted that Fofana switched to Saudi Arabian club from Ligue 1 side Lens. In the video going viral, the two can be seen performing Umrah post Al Nassr’s 1-1 draw.

Mane messages Ronaldo after a stellar on Al Nassr debut
In the match against the Egyptian side Zamalek, Cristiano Ronaldo powered home a late equaliser to send Al Nassr through to the Arab Club Champions Cup quarterfinal. Mane, who could not find the back of the net on his debut game, later thanked his 38-year-old teammate for his late header while taking it to Instagram.
“Une nouvelle page s’ouvre (a new page opens)!!! Congrats for your goal big Man @cristiano!!! On to the next round. Thank @alnassr fans the support was amazing,” he wrote.
Marking Ronaldo’s 200 th appearance, his equaliser was the 840 th goal of his career.
