The final of the ACC Mens Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023 between India and Pakistan was witness to a bizarre runout involving Sahibzada Farhan. The Pakistani opener was batting incredibly well and posted a formidable 65-run knock.
After a solid start, misfortune hit Farhan as he tried to sneak a single in the 22nd over facing Manav Suthar. As he directed the ball towards the off-side, the 27-year-old took off when his partner Omair Yousuf sent him back. Stranded in the middle of the pitch, Farhan attempted to get back but unfortunately slipped before being run out by Dhruv Jurel.
